Mentoring Philosophy
Hear from some cool people
I am grateful and humbled to have represented multiple competitive Division 1 athletic teams while completing a bachelors degree in Physics and Masters degree in Management. I attribute all of those successes to accompanying my necessary schedule with new hobbies and activities that pushed my comfort zone while advancing my career. This mindset is also responsible for opening the unconventional doors I went through to get to where I am.
All college students and athletes will agree that there is so much "burn out" when you get to higher athletic or academic levels. Many friends, teammates and colleagues have been subconsciously pushed into separating their time into two categories, work and rest/fun. I believe that becoming aware of that and the specific scenarios that student athletes will go through can help maintain intrinsic motivation.
